At Kunawarritji and well 33 we top up with the sweet water from the well, and full up fuel tanks. Hopefully our standard two 90L tanks will be sufficient to take us the 1000 kilometres to Wiluna, and end of the track. Before and after the village of Kunawarritji the corrugations are horrible and shake us for several hours. We are rewarded for our efforts by enjoying some of the best camp spots one could wish for. At a place we named Horseshoe Canyon I fly the drone. Horseshoe Canyon is almost exactly half way along the route we celebrate with our own version of bubbly.

The Canning Stock Route is a track that runs from Halls Creek in the Kimberley region of Western Australia to Wiluna in the mid-west region. With a total distance of around 1,850 km (1,150 mi) it is the longest historic stock route in the world. Once used as a route for cattle droves following a series of wells, it is now mainly used by adventure seekers looking for a challenge and solitude in the Australian outback. The last cattle drove the route in the 1930's.
